Amy invited me to be on this blog a while ago. I am sorry it has taken me so long to post! We went to California and I didn’t do so well down there, but I’m back and on the plan!
One thing that helps me with not wanting sweets, is to tell myself that this is a time for me and my health. I have my whole life to eat the sweets that are out there, and I don’t need to eat them all now or all the time! It is funny how we can trick our minds!
One treat I love is a gala apple cut up and dipped in plain yogurt with some stevia (I hope natural sweetener is okay). I notice fruit tastes so good when you aren’t used to sweet things!

I've been telling myself the same thing. I keep reminding myself that I will get to have all the sweets and treats that I love again. I don't need to eat them all the time or so many at a time. It's sad to me that that is such a hard concept for me to accept. Good luck with your sugar detox! It's great to have other women to go through this with!
Yes, we have our whole lives to eat sweet things, and I really believe that if we can be healthy, we will have longer, better lives to enjoy.
